Our Purpose

The Washington Fisk Alumni Association (WFAA) is required and needed to:

  • encourage, develop, and maintain a continuing bond of friendship and mutual helpfulness among all Fiskites.

  • encourage its members to develop their abilities to the fullest.

  • organize and mobilize the collective strength of the alumni.

  • cooperate with the University in suggesting and carrying out programs designed to affect the continued progress, development, growth and welfare of their Alma Mater.

  • maintain continual financial support to the University.

  • maintain friendly, harmonius and cooperative relationships with the University.

  • advance the influence, interest and usefulness of Fisk University.

We hope to add new members so we will be able to grow and expand. We also want to have fun while we are together and working on projects. By developing relationships and friendships, the WFAA will become even stronger.
